Pixie Lott. I want her style. Actually I want her looks too, oh and her hair, and her voice, Man I just want her. Before I go on, and on about her style, Ill give you a little summary of Pixie Lott herself.
Victoria Louise “Pixie” Lott was born 12 January 1991, in south-east London.
She came up with the name “Pixie”, because her mom used to call her it as she thought she was “such a tiny, cute baby who looked like a fairy”. How sweet!
When Lott was fifteen, she sang for a guy called L. A. Reid, after he heard a few of her demos he signed her to the Island Def Jam Music Group. She then formed a publishing deal, as a songwriter, with Sony/ATV Music in late 2007. She first came onto the scene when she played her first festival concert in the Big Top at the Isle of Wight Festival 2009, during her first full British tour, where she supported The Saturdays on Their “Work” Tour.
She released her debut single, “Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)”, on 8 June 2009. It spent one week at number one and also had considerable success outside the UK, reaching the top forty in eleven other countries. In September 2009, Lott’s debut album, Turn It Up was released, it has sold over 600,000 copies in the UK alone. She even starred in the Nickelodeon movie “FRED”, which has now given her the aspiration to do more acting.
Wait for it…Shes only 19!
She also has her own clothing line for Lipsy, which is actually what attracted me to her. This seasons collection is full of the Feminine, Flirty, but yet with a bit of Rock chick edge. Her clothing line has two sections, Pixie Festival & Pixie Rocks. I actually want everything in this collection, its just so, so, Pixie! She even wears it herself, which shows that the collection really shows Pixies true style.
Her own Festival/Gig Style…
Her festival style is very boho, with a rocker edge, for example: She is papped chilling out in a girly white lace dress, with a leather waistcoat, flower headband & wellies, which shoes her embracing the festival life…In true Style. While onstage her outfits range from a Netted Navy, Cream/Gold & Black Mini, bodice dress, with army boots & socks to a Black dress, with a feathered detail, with a matching thigh-band and a knitted cream & Black flower headband to top it off.
Her Everyday Style…
Before I finish off this post on the beautiful Pixie Lott, I’ve got to do a short pice on her hair! I’m sorry, I know It might sound boring, but I just love her hair, the way she always has it differently and its just so…perfect. From her Plaited hairband, flowers tossed in her wave of blonde hair, loosely falling with a flower at the side, 50s styled waves & then just having it classily “tied” up.
Lots of Lovee,
