Not many of the Designers embraced this trend though, as they weren’t seen in many of this years Spring/Summer shows. The only one that embraced this trend -in a “unique” way I must add- was Balmain. They had Heeled Cream Military boots worn with a Gold, Structured Mini-Dress, they also had a pair of Black Patent ones worn with Black Leather Skinny “Jeans” and a Khaki, Long Military Jacket. Both pairs screamed Tough Beauty (if you know what I mean?)
Don’t worry though the High Street embraced this trend with a bang. They are on every High Street shelf, around every corner, in every Fashionable shop, from Topshop, River Island, Oasis, etc. They vary from Grey, Cream or Khaki Suede to Black or Grey Patent.
So I don’t have a pair of these yet because to be honest, they’re not really my Style but one of my friend Ciara loves them. They really do suit her down to a T as her style is sort-of Girly Grunge (like Effy -Kaya Scodelario- from Channel 4’s Skins). Heres a picture taken by Abbie Farrell (she takes awesome pictures!) of Ciara wearing her pair with Dark Denim Shorts, White & Pinky-Red Floral “Smock” Top under a Black Cardi. Doesn’t she look gorgeous? 🙂
Lots of Love,
P.S. Thanks a Mil to Ciara Coady for giving me the Idea of this .#TrendAlert. The Army Boots and for letting me use a picture of her wearing them.
Love you Ciara XD
