Glastonbury 2010 :)

So forget the Red Carpet & ditch those Heels, we want Green Grass & Big, Floppy Wellies!?
Glastonbury has to be the most talked about Music Festival in the World (in my opinion anyway!)Its located at Worthy Farm between the small towns of Pylle and Pilton in Somerset, England, during the last weekend (3 days)in June. It is actually the largest open-air music festival in the world. The festival is best known for its range of music, It varies from Rock to Pop, Indie to Dance & Hip hop to Reggae.
It began in the 1970’s as a Hippy Festival, and its still going on now … 40 years later. Stevie Wonder even sang “Happy Birthday” to it during his appearance on the Main Pyramid Stage as the Closing act of the 2010 Festival.

Don’t worry though I’m not going to go anymore about the History of Glastonbury, I just said I’d give you a quick summary in case you LIVE UNDER A ROCK!?
The fashion at this years festival ranged from Creative Costumes to Casual Comfort, Onstage & Offstage.

Onstage

I must say the Musicians really made an effort with their Fashion choices this year, such as; Two Fabulous Redheads- Florence Welch with her Cream, Ruffled, One-Sleeve dress & Paloma Faith in a Burlesque Style Cream, Leotard suit to Kylie with her gorgeous Over-the-knee Black, “Studded” Boots singing with the Crazy, Fashionable Scissor Sisters!

Offstage

The stage wasn’t the only place that was full of fashion, as the people sunbathing in their deck chairs, were just as stylish!
Florence Welch & Paloma Faith showed that you can be stylish offstage aswell as onstage: Florence in her Cream Chiffon, Ankle-Lenght Dress & Paloma in her Golden Cream Jumpsuit with a Giant, Over sized, Green Bow in her Awesome Red Hair šŸ™‚

But they’re not the only girls who looked gorgeously stylish, while they were frolicking in the grass, drinking *cough* coke *cough* & watching their favourite musicians onstage. Emma Watson showed off in a Light White Cotton shirt with cute Denim, Turned-up Hot pants, Kate Nash stood out in a 80’s style Pink, Blue & Yellow “High Waist-top” with also High-Waisted, buttoned up, denim shorts && not forgetting Kelly Osbourne in a Black Chiffon Skirt, Black & Pink Rockers Tee with a washed out Denim Waistcoat but to top it all off she had her Boyfriend (or fiancee?) Luke Worrall linked onto her right arm. Lucky Biatch!?

But before I sign off I cannot forget the Guys at Glastonbury. They were all terribly Stylish, from MGMTs Lead Singer Andrew Van Wyngarden showing off in a Floral, Multi-coloured, Blazer to Doctor Who’s gorgeous Matt Smith onstage with Orbital wearing a Military style Navy, Knee Length, Coat and not forgetting those Stylish New Yorkers Vampire Weekends Guitarist wearing a Rainbow coloured, Tie-Dye Tee.
I must say the guys really hit the nail on the head with their style at this years Glastonbury. Thank God, they must have being paying attention to Henry Holland, Who was also there strutting his stuff in Bright Pink Knee lenght Shorts … What an Awesome Guy! My True Icon.

Whoever went to Glastonbury, I hate you because I’m terribly jealous. Awh don’t worry I really do lovee ye šŸ™‚
Hope you enjoyed my Fashion Summary of Glastonbury Festival 2010!?

Lots of Lovee,
Hannah .x.
